Meetings
The Sioux City Camera Club meets on the second and last Thursday of the months from September through April (first and third Thursdays due to holidays in Nov. and Dec.) and an annual banquet/awards ceremony in May (click here for meeting schedule).

Meetings are held at the Sioux City Art Center beginning at 7:00 pm and ending at 9:00 pm. The Sioux City Art Center is centrally located at 225 Nebraska St. in downtown Sioux City. Guests are more than welcome. Parking is available in the parking lot on the Southwest side of the building. Enter through the South entrance.  The building is handicap accessible.  Occasionally, before club meetings, members meet at various local restaurants for dinner at 6 pm. Check the current newsletter for this month's selection if one is scheduled.

The first meeting of the month (second Thursday) is our Program Night. We start with a short business meeting and announcements, followed by a View and Review, and then the program for the night. The View and Review is topic related where members show photographs of the topic for that month and then explain their techniques and composition as a learning experience for all members. The program is an educational or entertaining photography related program presented by one of our members or guest. Refreshments are provided at all of our meetings by a member volunteer.

The second meeting of the month (last Thursday) is our Competition Results Night. This is when we review all of the previously judged print and digital entries for the month. The judge chair of each category will show and comment on each image and announce all of the winning entries. Members in the audience are also free to critique and offer suggestions. Refreshments as always will be served.
